WANT TO GET A TATTOO? Here is some information to help you get started:

We DO NOT tattoo anyone under the age of 18. Period. 

We DO NOT take walk-ins. Request an appointment with Abby or Jill.

Before requesting an appointment:

  • Have an idea of what you want. We only do custom pieces (we don't have anything for you to pick out). Think about what style of tattoo you would like and check out our portfolios to see if what you want would match the styles we do.

  • Know what you want for imagery, color scheme, etc.

  • Collect images or examples of what you want so you can email or bring them with you to your consultation.

  • Know an approximate size of the tattoo and where you want it placed on your body.

  • If you are getting a cover-up, reworking an existing tattoo, or wanting a tattoo that is not easily explainable via email we will schedule a consultation with you.

We charge by how long it takes to complete your tattoo. If you request an estimate we will try to give you a price range, but there are a lot of variables that factor into how long your tattoo will take to complete. So always have enough money in your budget to cover extra!

Before your appointment:

  • Get enough rest the night before

  • Stay hydrated throughout the day

  • Eat a meal. Getting tattooed on an empty stomach is not recommended

  • If you want to shave the area you are getting tattooed so we don't have to do it, go for it! Just be careful not to damage your skin

  • Take care of your skin. Healthy and moisturized skin will be easier to tattoo and heal

Your appointment:

  • Be on time, not early or late! If you are going to be a few minutes late, please email us or call the shop at 715-394-6533

  • Bring your photo ID

  • Have your payment ready: Cash, Credit/debit Card, or an INK Tattoo Gift Certificate (sorry, we do not accept checks)

  • Wear comfortable clothing that makes it easy to access the part of your body you are having tattooed

  • You can use your smartphone as long as its on silent or you wear headphones and you are not being a distraction

  • Bring water or juice, and snacks if you are going to be there for a long appointment

Please DO NOT:

  • Bring guests with you without asking your artist ahead of time

We cannot tattoo you if:

  • You are not 18 or older

  • You have wounds, scabs or sun burn where you want your tattoo

  • You are not sober

  • You are not respectful of our space or us

Please consult your doctor for permission if you want to get tattooed and you are:

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Have a condition that could be a concern with tattooing, such as: being on blood thinners, or diabetes.

Shop Information

  • We are located at 1212 Tower Avenue in Superior, WI

  • We are between Blondie’s Salon and Inner Strength Martial Arts and across the street from the Androy Hotel. Our door is behind the brick “pillar”/wall, and our name is on the door.

  • There is free 2 hour parking on the street in front of the shop. There is also parking on the side streets as well as a few parking lots behind the shop (please come to the front door at your appointment time)
