Abby grew up in Elk River MN and moved to the northland to get her BFA at UMD. While living in Duluth she focused on ceramics and photography at school, but also helped bring roller derby to the twin ports as a founding member of the Harbor City Roller Derby. After college she moved to the Twin Cities to follow her roller derby dreams. While skating and mascot-ing around the country with North Star Roller Derby and Minnesota Roller Derby she also worked some interesting jobs in the bicycle industry, academia, adult foster care and lots of fun and weird art projects in between. Then one day in 2016 Jill called her and asked her to come tattoo at INK, and she’s been here ever since!
Likes: Roller skating, kitties, artsy/craftsy stuff, thrifting, spending time in nature especially beach combing for bones, glass and agates at the lake!
Abby loves collaborating with her clients to make fun and colorful tattoos to tell their stories and help celebrate, decorate, and love their bodies.
